Master effective communication and collaboration in healthcare with this short course, designed for Medical Affairs professionals eager to gain practical tools to enhance their omnichannel strategies and stakeholder engagement skills.

Why enrol?

In today's fast paced healthcare environment, communicating effectively across multiple channels is essential. This course empowers you to build meaningful connections with patients, colleagues, and external experts, ensuring you thrive in your role.

What will you gain?

  • Master omnichannel communication: Learn the principles and practices that define successful omnichannel strategies. Become adept at using various platforms to reach and engage your audience effectively.
  • Engage with patient organisations: Discover the key patient organisations in your therapeutic area and understand the regulations that shape your interactions. Build trust and foster collaboration in your healthcare community.
  • Enhance your communication skills: Sharpen your oral and written communication abilities, enabling you to convey information clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across disciplines: Gain insights into the roles and responsibilities of different departments within your organisation. Enhance teamwork and improve information sharing to drive better outcomes.
  • Network with experts: Establish valuable connections with healthcare professionals and academics in your field. Learn how to respond to inquiries effectively and share critical information to diverse stakeholders.

Communication and collaboration are essential for Medical Affairs professionals as they enable the effective delivery of accurate, evidence-based information to diverse stakeholders, foster cross-functional teamwork across clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams, and build strong relationships with external experts, patient advocacy groups, and policymakers, ultimately driving better healthcare outcomes and advancing innovation.

Take the next step in your professional development today.

Whether you want to sharpen your communication skills, enhance cross-functional collaboration, or deepen your understanding of patient engagement, the Communication and Collaboration Course is tailored for you, based on Domain 5 of the MAPA Working Group Competency Framework.

"One of the most valuable lessons I took from the course was the importance of adapting scientific presentations to the right audience. This skill proved critical when I recently spoke at a Career-Industry Workshop, sharing my journey from academia to Medical Affairs. By tailoring my message to resonate with early-career researchers, the presentation landed far more effectively — sparking meaningful questions, follow-ups, and genuine interest in the medical affairs pathway. This course gave me the frameworks and confidence to communicate with clarity and purpose, whether I’m engaging with HCPs, internal teams, or broader stakeholder groups."
