Carmen Huckel-Schneider

Associate Professor Carmen Huckel Schneider is Deputy Director of the Leeder Centre for Health Policy, Economics and Data and Director of Academic Education at the University of Sydney School of Public Health. A leading scholar in health policy and governance, her work focuses on strengthening health system performance through applied systems analysis, evidence-informed policymaking and integrated care. Carmen’s research spans global health governance and system reform, supported by NHMRC-funded projects and international collaborations. She completed her PhD at the University of Tübingen and holds honorary roles with the Sax Institute and The George Institute, bridging research, policy and practice to deliver feasible health reform.
