Refresh your knowledge in and revitalise your passion for Pain Management in the Pain Refresh 2024 four-day workshop. The workshop will integrate basic science, research outcomes and clinical applications to increase your knowledge and skills in assessing and managing patients with acute and/or chronic pain conditions.

 

Course Overview

  • Day 1: Update on Biopsychosocial Pain Mechanisms, Diagnosis & Outcomes
  • On the first day, we will lay the foundation by exploring the intricate biopsychosocial pain mechanisms that underpin the chronic pain classifications in ICD-11. Gain insights into cutting-edge diagnostic tools and techniques and discover how they can lead to better patient outcomes. Our experts will guide you through the latest research, ensuring you're up-to-date with the most current pain management practices.

  • Day 2: Common Pain Conditions & their Management
  • Day two is dedicated to unravelling the complexities of common pain conditions. Learn from experienced clinician-researchers as they share their expertise in managing a wide spectrum of pain disorders. You'll leave with a comprehensive understanding of evidence-based treatment strategies and greater confidence in applying them in your practice.

  • Day 3: Applying New Technologies Today
  • In today's rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, technology plays a crucial role in pain management. On day three, we'll explore how advanced technologies are transforming pain assessment and treatment. Explore the world of telehealth, virtual reality, and digital therapeutics, discovering how they can enhance patient care in real-world scenarios.

  • Day 4: Interdisciplinary Interventions in Clinical Practice
  • The final day is all about synergy and collaboration. Explore the power of interdisciplinary interventions in pain management.
